I've personally used: http://www.dogpile.com, http://www.msn.com (not so great, but can be handy at times), http://www.hotbot.com (another site ran by Lycos.com but which is less annoying than Lycos), http://www.blowsearch.com, and at times I may try http://www.altavista.com (not as good as in the old days) and http://www.teoma.com (which has been bought by Ask.com..). Good luck and remember always try more than one or two. You just might find a special one from one lesser known!
